Security.Intelligence.Defense.
Sustained support for governments and public institutions operating in high-risk, low visibility environments.
About us
Interpret the human factor shaping current events.
LFA is a security, intelligence and defense firm.
We work with governments, heads of state, public institutions and multilateral organizations to anticipate risks, build coalitions and act with more clarity in complex situations.
We help leaders decode the human factor shaping geopolitical outcomes by understanding how people group, align, and act. We identify the key stakeholders, informal power brokers, behavioral drivers, loyalties and alliances behind reported facts and figures.
Our work is informed by deep field experience, human intelligence, and AI-enhanced analysis. This approach enables clients to assess not only what is occurring, but why the situation is unfolding as it is, and how to respond effectively.
The LFA Platform
Purpose-built AI to understand human systems
LFA's proprietary AI platform is the core of what we offer. Internally, it powers every capability, gathering data across the globe, in local dialects and from local sources, to support the work of our human analysts.
Externally, it is offered to clients through our Build-Operate-Transfer model. The platform is built to each client's specifications, operated alongside their internal team in their own environments and within their own legal frameworks. At the end of the engagement, the platform is transferred to the client in its entirety, while LFA remains in a maintenance and advisory role.

Regions
Operate more confidently in complex, low-visibility environments.
Global operating environments are increasingly shaped by fragmented political landscapes, strategic competition, regulatory uncertainty, and shifting public sentiment. In many markets, formal policies can only provide partial visibility into how decisions unfold in practice. Through analyzing the dynamics of how people group together, align their objectives, and act to achieve these objectives, we provide clients with a more complete understanding of the picture on the ground.
LFA has operated in 40+ countries across six global regions. Additionally, our networks can be extended anywhere in the world where clients need support.

The Map Is Not the Power Structure

Reading the Gray Zone
Hybrid threats are designed to operate just below the threshold where attribution is possible, which means the states that manage them well are the ones that stopped waiting for proof before they acted.
